Are you looking to create new opportunities, learn valuable skills and connect with industry peers in the culinary arena? Are you ready for more? Then this is the competition for you.

You will have the chance to showcase your culinary talent and win globally recognised medals across entrée, main and dessert course categories, and if successful in your region’s heat, you will get to cook-off against the country’s best chef talent in the National Final at Fine Food Australia in Sydney this September with one team being crowned the 2019 National Winners and awarded a culinary trip of a lifetime to North America, worth $15,000.

Step 1

Find a cooking buddy and get your team together. You will both need to:
a) Fill out an entry form
b) Tell us why you deserve to win the Nestlé GOLDEN CHEF'S HAT AWARD

Step 2

If successful, your team will compete in the Regional or Metro Cook-offs (depending on where you live) and prepare a two-course meal. If successful in the Regional or Metro Cook-off, you could be one of ten teams to go on to compete in the National Final.

Step 3

At the National Final there will be one last three-course cook-off with one ultimate winning team taking out the awesome $15,000 prize.

Entry open to those who are currently in the culinary profession and aged between 16 and 25.
